Access to and in the Venue.

We like to treat everyone how we like to be treated and have hosted many shows over the years and welcome customers that have extra assistant requirements. Signs live and RNIB are just a few events we have hosted!

Parking Near the venue

Because it is situated in an industrial estate parking can be found within a few metres of the main entrance.

If you prefer by prior notice no later than the day before then we can reserve a space to park for you.

Or take your pot luck and we will do are best to accommodate!

Entrance to the venue

Direct from the roadside double yellow lines across the entrance ensure that wheel chair access is made easier the pavements in the area are rather narrow and may not be suitable for wheel chairs. With a small incline over the pavement and a shallow step of 15 mm to cross. Door security will be around this area and are more than happy to assist. A second door can be opened on request making the entrance over 2 metres wide.

Queues

At times we do experience large crowds wanting to enter the venue, so queuing is inevitable, we hope that you will come to the front of the queue.

Once in the venue

We benefit from one level, this will give you full access to any area in the venue. There are approximately 70 seats at the back of the venue with tables, if standing for long periods is a problem.

The stage area is standing, but full wheel chair is accessible.

If a chair is required and needed to be taken into the area of the stage, then clearance must be given by security personal (some shows can have rowdy crowds and so we can prevent any risk of injury we would like to authorise any seats being placed into this area). Although excellent site lines to the stage can be achieved from the seating area, we have the sound piped into this area too.

Emergency exits must always be free from obstruction from chairs.

Emergency Exits

If for any reason we need to evacuate the club then we request that you use the front roadside fire exits the rear exit’s walkway is stoned for over 120 meters until the road is reached and not as easy to access.

Toilets

The toilets have not been modified yet for extra assistance,

Assistance dogs

We will provide a container of water for your dog there is a grassed area opposite the club entrance across the road for toileting.

Food and medicine

Upon entry all bags are checked for security purposes it is a condition we have on the clubs’ licence; however, we do give free drinking water and allow food for medical purposes into the venue. If the medicine must be kept refrigerated, then we are more than happy to pop it in the kitchen fridge for you.

Personal Assistant pass

We understand that without these passes some people would not be able to attend live music performances. They are limited so the earlier you contact the venue the better. We do are up-most to full fill every request however tickets can be limited.

Passes can be collected upon arrival from the box office, we will email you a confirmation of reservation

You will need to provide some form of confirmation of disability when collecting the Pass. Disability Living Allowance (DLA) / Attendance Allowance (AA), Blue Badges, The Access Card, we may not ask for proof as it will be at the discretion of the box office.

For any further information

If you require further information, then please contact Daniel using the details below.

Please email info@fiddlers.co.uk  or if you prefer then telephone 01179873403 (this may take longer to respond).

Do not panic if you do not hear back from us immediately as it is a family business we do sometimes all go on holiday together and close the club. We therefore in summer periods and January respond a lot slower than we would like.

If you think we have missed something that you consider important to be added on this page then please email us your thoughts
